ShimmyHipz (once known as Bellydance Boogie)  Bellydance in Huddersfield                Dance from the Heart                           NEWS FLASH:                                 Beginners and Improvers classes at Marsden Parochial Hall Tuesdays at 6.30.                                                                 Daytim

Bellydance is a traditional middle eastern dance, The moves originally evolved to support the female body through Childbirth and are supportive to feminine fitness. Most of all the dance is fun.

I have found over the years of teaching that the dance is very therapeutic and can really change how a woman feels about her body and it is very rewarding watching women's confidence grow. Also the supportive feel of a friendly group of women around you can be very helpful for people.

You can dance just for exercise or you could perhaps join the performance group KISMET.

Come and give it a try, you dont even have to show your belly!!!! alternatively you can enjoy dressing up in the wonderful costumes and coming to dance at the bellydance partys called Haflas.

Bellydance opens doorways to another world, Come and Explore.
